Andy Murray, the legendary British tennis player, will bid farewell to professional tennis at the Olympic Games in Paris.
The 37-year-old Murray, who won Olympic gold in 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio, announced his decision on the social network X.
The owner of 46 titles, including three Grand Slams, posted an emotional message on social media ahead of the last tournament of his career.
“I have arrived in Paris for my final tennis tournament. Competing for Great Britain has been the most memorable weeks of my career, and I am extremely proud to do it one last time,” wrote Murray.
The tennis tournament at the Paris Olympic Games will be held from July 27 to August 4 at Roland Garros.
