Cristiano Ronaldo has broken yet another record in his illustrious career, and this time it’s truly an incredible feat.
Namely, although this may sound unbelievable, at the age of 39, Ronaldo ran the fastest sprint of his career at the Euros.
In the second-round match against Turkey, during one sprint, Ronaldo reached a speed of 32.7 kilometers per hour, showing that age is just a number when it comes to him.
UEFA has been measuring and publishing player speed data since Euro 2012, and it was then that Ronaldo reached a speed of 32 kilometers per hour.
So, believe it or not, Ronaldo is faster at 39 than he was at 27.
Here are his highest speeds achieved at the European Championships:
Euro 2012: 32 km/h
Euro 2016: 29.1 km/h
Euro 2020: 29.7 km/h
Euro 2024: 32.7 km/h
