Significantly for Djokovic, arthroscopy confirmed that the meniscus injury was not severe, avoiding the necessity for a prolonged recovery period. As a result, the Serbian tennis star is hopeful for a swift return to competitive play.
Djokovic is expected to be sidelined for approximately three weeks, which unfortunately rules him out of the Wimbledon Championships. However, he is on track to be fit for the Olympic Games in Paris, commencing on July 27.
Successful rehabilitation will be crucial for Djokovic’s participation in the Olympics, where he aims to secure the elusive gold medal, adding to his illustrious career achievements.
With this successful surgery, Djokovic remains optimistic about his recovery and return to the sport, with fans eagerly anticipating his comeback on the international stage.
