The footballers of the German giants Bayern Munich secured a spot in the Champions League semifinals after defeating Arsenal 1-0 in the second leg of the quarterfinals in Munich, following a 2-2 draw in the London match. Bavarians, who have been European champions six times, reach their first semifinal since 2020, when they won their last title.
The deciding goal was scored by Joshua Kimmich in the 63rd minute. It was the 31st goal in the Champions League quarterfinals this season, breaking the record for this stage of the competition.
